I make things people walk into, put on their head, or play. Over roughly a decade at MediaMonks, latterly Monks, that has meant VR you feel in your chest, AR that puts a story in someone's living room, games built for brands that usually buy films, and installations that only exist once, in one room, for the people standing in it.
The through line is not the technology. It is finding the one mechanic that makes an idea worth touching. An F1 car you steer by calming down. An eye-tracking game about not blinking. A bookcase that opens into five lives. A Whopper three million people designed themselves.
Work has been recognised at the Webbys, D&AD, One Show, Cannes, CLIO, Spikes, the Lovies, FWA and Awwwards, and one project picked up a Creative Arts Emmy. Clients along the way include Burger King, Apple TV+, Google, Old Spice, Red Bull, PUMA, Vodafone, Supercell, Allianz, the Anne Frank House and the Dutch police.
